Amatorius - Travelling Band

Singing and chanting her notes high and low,
Some songs up-tempo, some sweet and slow
she renders the stories in verses and shows
that light cast in darkness will create shadows ...

This minstrel from the Nor ’eastern land, vibrating the strings
Has Viking ancestors that separated seals from their fins
Modern lute and roaring vocals chord have stirred many inns
When he sets the tone with triads, then our show begins.

In these dark ages of modern times a low undulation is heard
From this minstrel while we perform in our theatre of the absurd
As the rumbling of the bass under chords is being transferred
The words from our book is being learned and confirmed

Creator of sounds that sprang from out of the woodland
making ebony and ivory vibrate harmonious and grand
A jester by nature, his chords and melodies make a stand
So the tunes can be spread, and our music is fanned

Pulsating rhythms that stir up the mind
A better marauder then this is hard to find
guiding us through the forest of beats combined
although our songs cannot really be defined

A troubadour from Alba, many years he has roamed
As a trouper and a teacher, his skills have been honed
With his band of gypsies he lets the crowds behold
How matured songs can still be turned into gold
